Fashion Show Fundraiser Enables Women’s Organization to Build Better Community

KNOXVILLE, TN, August 12, 2024 – The Junior League of Knoxville is excited to announce its inaugural “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” Fashion Show, a chic and stylish event set to take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cherokee Country Club.

Guests will be treated to a delightful brunch and the opportunity to shop exclusive collections from vendors such as Bliss and Kendra Scott. The highlight of the event will be a spectacular fashion show featuring ready-to-wear collections from White House Black Market and Chico’s, with a special presentation of the iconic Little Black Dress styled in five unique and versatile ways.

In keeping with the event’s theme, attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Little Black Dress as a prelude to the Junior League of Knoxville’s Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) in October. This important campaign raises awareness about domestic violence by challenging participants to wear the same black dress for five consecutive days, symbolizing the restrictions that many victims of domestic violence face daily. The initiative aims to ignite conversations, raise vital funds, and support local organizations dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence.

All proceeds from the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” Fashion Show will benefit community partners working to advance women’s health and safety. This event is not only an opportunity to support a crucial cause but also a chance to enjoy a morning filled with fashion, philanthropy, and fun.
