Taking place on Saturday, April 18, this hands-on experience invites attendees of all ages to explore and interact with an impressive lineup of vehicles, including fire trucks, police cars, construction equipment, and more.

The Junior League of Knoxville’s nonprofit partners on the issue of domestic violence include: the McNabb Center, the Knoxville Family Justice Center, Joy D. Baker Center, Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, and YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley.

2026 Truck Trek Participant WAIVER and RELEASE

By purchasing or being provided a ticket to Truck Trek, sponsored by The Junior League of Knoxville, Inc., on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Karns High School (hereinafter “TT”), the ticket holder (referred to herein as the “Participant”) acknowledges that the Participant has carefully read this WAIVER and RELEASE, fully understands and is voluntarily agreeing to be bound by its terms, and on the Participant’s own behalf, on behalf of any minor children to or for whom the Participant is purchasing or providing a ticket to TT (the “Child(ren)”), and on behalf of the Participant’s and the Child(ren)’s heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, agrees to be bound by the following:

  1. Representation of Minors.  The Participant represents that he or she is the parent, legal guardian, and/or representative of the Child(ren).  If the Participant is not the parent or legal guardian of any Child(ren), the Participant expressly represents that he or she has the permission of the Child(ren)’s parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) to act as their agent in signing this WAIVER and RELEASE.  
  2. WAIVER and RELEASE of Liability.  The Participant expressly understands that participation in TT is his or her and the Child(ren)’s own risk.  The Participant hereby forever releases, discharges, and holds harmless the Association of Junior Leagues International, The Junior League of Knoxville, Inc., and all agents, volunteers, representatives, employees, and trustees of either the Association of Junior Leagues International or The Junior League of Knoxville, Inc. (collectively, “JLK”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related in any way to any damage, injury, expense, or loss of any kind, including but not limited to any personal injury, death, and/or property damage, resulting from or related to (a) TT; (b) any action or omission of JLK, whether intentional or negligent, during TT; (c) any action or omission by the Participant or the Child(ren), whether intentional or negligent, during TT; and (d) the publication of the likeness or image of the Participant or the Child(ren) that is captured and/or recorded during TT.  The Participant further agrees to hold harmless and indemnify JLK for any such damage, injury, expense, or loss of any kind, including attorney’s fees.
  3. No Duty to SuperviseThe Participant acknowledges that an adult over the age of eighteen (18) years MUST accompany and supervise the Child(ren) participating in TT.  The Participant agrees and understands that JLK has no duty to monitor, control, or supervise the Participant, the Child(ren), or anyone else during TT.  The Participant agrees to fully monitor, control, and supervise the Child(ren) during their participation in TT and understands that the Participant is solely responsible for any injuries sustained or caused by the Child(ren) during TT.
  4. Photo ReleaseEvents sponsored by JLK may be photographed and/or video recorded. The Participant gives JLK, as well as its sponsors, vendors, agents, and subcontractors, permission to publish in print, electronic, and/or video format the likeness or image of the Participant and the Child(ren) captured or recorded during TT.
  5. Ticket Sales Final.  All ticket sales for TT are final.  TT tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.  All proceeds benefit JLK.
