Description
Join the Junior League of Knoxville for an insightful evening dedicated to understanding the intricate process of policy development at both the local and state levels. This event is perfect for members of the League who are passionate about contemporary issues and eager to learn how ideas evolve into laws.
We’re thrilled to feature a distinguished panel of speakers, including State Senator Massey, Former State House Representative Julia Hurley, and local advocates. Together, they will walk us through the journey of policy creation, from the initial concept to the final legislation.
Whether you’re interested in policy, advocacy, or simply want to be more informed about how our government functions, this event is for you. The evening will begin with networking at 6 pm, followed by the panel discussion and educational session from 6:30-7:30 pm. Light bites and refreshments will be provided.
Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of the legislative process and engage with experts in the field.
We kindly ask that you make other arrangements for children, except for nursing infants, as we want to ensure a respectful environment for both the speakers and attendees.
